Prepare once. Repeat the same way.

The most useful scan is one you can compare. Follow these notes as closely as you reasonably can—then do the same thing next time.

Before

2–3 hours out

  • Avoid a large meal
  • Avoid hard training
  • Keep hydration normal—not a huge extra pour right before you arrive
  • Use the restroom before the scan
Day of

What to wear and bring

  • Light clothing; you will remove shoes and socks
  • Avoid heavy lotions on hands and feet if you can
  • Bring your goal in one sentence—fat loss, muscle, performance, or check-in
  • If this is a retest, try to book a similar time of day
Consistency

Why this matters

Food, sweat, and water can move readings. We are not chasing a “perfect” scan. We are chasing a repeatable one so the second printout means something.

Please tell us

If anything is unusual

If you are ill, unusually depleted, or your routine is far off your normal day, say so. We can still scan—and we will interpret with that context—or reschedule if a later baseline would serve you better.

These notes support a consistent reading. They are not medical advice. If you have a condition that makes standing bioelectrical impedance testing inappropriate, check with your clinician before booking.
